What does Career Confidence Academy offer?
Career Confidence Academy offers digital Career Intelligence guides, free career resources and Premium Private Career Coaching. It was founded by Jacqueline Hayes for experienced professionals making a career move.
Which guide should I start with?
Start with the part of your search that is holding you back now. The "Find your guide" page matches common situations to one guide. If you need help in two or more areas, look at the Playbook, which is the complete solution.
What is the difference between the Playbook and the focused guides?
The Career Intelligence Playbook is the complete solution, with 20 AI prompts, for $29.99. Each focused guide covers one area in 9 or 10 pages, with 3 or 4 AI prompts, for $12.99 or $14.99. Bought separately, the four focused guides cost $55.96.
Are these physical books?
No. Every product is a digital PDF. Nothing is printed or shipped.
How do I pay, and is checkout secure?
Payment is handled by Shopify's secure checkout. You can pay with a credit or debit card, PayPal, Shop Pay or Google Pay, and on Apple devices with Apple Pay where it is shown at checkout.
Do I need an account to buy?
No. You can check out as a guest with your email address.
Will I be charged tax?
Sales tax may apply, depending on where you live. Any tax is shown at checkout before you pay.
Is this a subscription?
No. Each guide is a one-time purchase. There is no recurring charge.
Can I share my guide with someone else?
Each purchase is for one person's own use. Please do not share, resell or post it online. For a team or a group, contact us.
Getting your guide: download and access
How do I get my guide after I pay?
Your download link appears on the confirmation page right after checkout. We also email the link to the address you used, so you can find it later.
I did not get my download email. What should I do?
First check your spam or promotions folder and search your inbox for "Career Confidence Academy". If it is not there, email support@empoweredlivinggroup.com with your order number and the email address you used at checkout. We will send the link again.
Can I download my guide more than once?
Yes. You can use your link again to download the guide on another device.
What do I need to open the guide?
A phone, tablet or computer that can open PDF files.
Can I print my guide?
Yes. You may print your guide for your own use. Please do not share, resell or post it online.
I bought the wrong guide. Can I swap it?
If you bought the wrong guide, email us within 3 days of your purchase and we will switch it for the right one. If you are unsure which one fits, use the "Find your guide" page or ask us before you buy.
Will I get the new version if a guide is updated?
No. Your purchase includes the version you buy. When a guide is updated, earlier buyers are offered the new version at a discounted price.
Using AI tools with the guides
Do I have to use AI to benefit from the guides?
No. Each guide pairs a practical framework with AI prompts. The framework sets out what to do, and the prompts help you do it with an AI assistant.
Which AI tools do the prompts work with?
The prompts are written in plain language, not as commands for one piece of software. They are designed for use with leading AI assistants such as ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini. Results differ from tool to tool, so personalize what you get and verify it before you use it.
Do I need a paid AI subscription?
Career Confidence Academy prompts are designed to work with the free versions of ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini. No paid AI subscription is required to get started. Features and usage limits may vary by platform.
Is access to an AI tool included?
No. The guides do not include access to any AI assistant. You use your own account with the tool you choose, and that tool's own terms and prices apply.
Will I get the same results as someone else?
No. AI assistants answer differently from one tool to the next, and from one day to the next. Treat every result as a first draft. Personalize it and verify the facts before you use it.
Is it acceptable to use AI in a job search?
Yes, when you use it as an assistant and the work stays yours. Use AI to research, draft and practice. Keep every fact accurate and every line in your own voice. If an employer sets its own rules on AI for an application or an assessment, follow them.
Is my information safe when I use an AI tool?
That depends on the tool you choose. Check its privacy settings, and leave out details you would not want stored, such as your home address or ID numbers.
Do I need to be good with AI?
No. The prompts are written in plain language. You enter a prompt in an AI assistant such as ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini, add your own details and review what comes back.
Refunds on digital guides
Can I get a refund?
Because Career Confidence Academy products are digital and provide immediate access to downloadable content, all sales are final and non-refundable. If you experience a technical issue accessing your purchase, please contact us for assistance.
Why are all sales final?
You receive the full guide the moment you pay, and a download cannot be returned the way a physical product can.
What if I cannot download or open my purchase?
Email support@empoweredlivinggroup.com with your order number. A real person will help you get access. We typically respond within 24 hours on business days.
I was charged twice, or I bought the same guide twice. What now?
If you buy the same guide twice, we refund the duplicate. Email us with both order numbers.
Does this policy cover coaching?
No. It covers digital products. Coaching has its own terms.
Premium Private Career Coaching
What is Premium Private Career Coaching?
It is a private coaching program with Jacqueline Hayes: eight private, 60-minute coaching sessions over eight weeks. It covers job search strategy, resume positioning, interview preparation, and offer and compensation negotiation.
Who is it for?
It is for experienced professionals who want an individual strategy and direct access to Jacqueline during a career move.
How do I start?
Enrollment is by application and includes a complimentary 30-minute discovery conversation to determine mutual fit. To start, send us a message through the contact page and choose "Coaching".
Do I need to buy a guide first?
No. The guides and the Playbook are self-directed. Coaching is individual work with Jacqueline. Choose the level of support you want.
Does coaching guarantee a job offer?
No. Nobody can promise that. Results depend on your experience, your effort and the job market. Coaching gives you a clear strategy, direct feedback and Jacqueline's full attention in every session.
